Patrick Mahomes has a very special guest in his latest Adidas commercial—his nearly 2-year-old son, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III. The three-time Super Bowl champion shared footage of his newest collaboration with Adidas on Monday, November 25, featuring a heartwarming appearance from Bronze, just ahead of his birthday on November 28.
The touching video showcases Mahomes, his son, and the new bronze-colored Adidas sneakers in a series of visually captivating shots. The commercial incorporates shades of red and black along with glimpses of the special edition shoes.
Eagle-eyed viewers might also notice that Mahomes’ 3-year-old daughter, Sterling Skye, makes a cameo, sitting on a bronze-colored tricycle, adding a family-oriented touch to the ad.
“Three rings, three stripes, three generations,” the Chiefs quarterback says in a voiceover, drawing a connection between his Super Bowl victories, Adidas’ iconic branding, and the Mahomes family legacy. Referring to himself, his son, and his father—former MLB pitcher Pat Mahomes—he continues, “The legend lives on the field. The legacy lives at home.”

Mahomes took to Instagram to share the promotional video, adding the heartfelt caption, “For Bronze ?. Celebrating Bronze’s birthday with his own colorway. Available now at adidas.com.”
In the video, Mahomes and Bronze share playful moments, with the young toddler carrying a glittering football, representing the passing of the family tradition from one generation to the next.
Adidas also released images of the special-edition shoes on social media. The sneakers, dubbed the “Mahomes 2 Bronze,” feature a shiny bronze color scheme, glittering Adidas stripes, and bronze-colored laces, giving them a striking and unique appearance. “Third time’s the charm ?,” Adidas wrote in their post, showcasing the latest addition to the Mahomes-Adidas collection.
Mahomes’ wife, Brittany, also shared the promo video to her Instagram Stories, expressing her excitement at seeing their young son featured in the ad. “Omg my wittle Bronze,” she wrote, clearly delighted by the touching tribute to their son.
This latest collaboration continues Mahomes’ longstanding partnership with Adidas, a relationship that has expanded well beyond shoes and jerseys.
Earlier this year, the NFL superstar announced an initiative with Adidas that saw six student-athletes from his alma mater, Texas Tech, receive NIL (name, image, and likeness) deals.
These athletes, representing various sports including football, softball, basketball, golf, soccer, and baseball, were signed to the Team Mahomes brand, allowing them to take part in marketing campaigns for Mahomes’ signature Adidas shoe and clothing lines.
“Adidas has been a collaborative partner from the start, and we worked together to select athletes who are among the best and embody the drive and dedication we’re looking for in a Team Mahomes athlete,” Mahomes said in July. “We’ve got a lot of great stuff coming up for the Red Raiders—stay tuned for more.”
This new campaign comes as Mahomes and his family prepare for yet another milestone: the arrival of their third child. Patrick and Brittany announced in July that they were expecting baby number three.
At the time, the couple shared a heartwarming video of themselves with their children, Sterling and Bronze, taking part in a photo shoot dressed in all-white outfits. The video showed the family smiling, laughing, and dancing while holding sonogram photos, celebrating the upcoming addition to their growing family.
“Round three, here we come ?,” the couple captioned the clip, announcing their excitement for the newest chapter in their lives.
The Adidas collaboration, along with the joyful family announcements, marks a year of growth and celebration for Mahomes both on and off the field.
